I was stress testing a nonmosfet mp5k by causing trigger burnout for control data, i held the trigger enough to touch the panels but not enough to fire a shot. This is caused by a simple slow press of the trigger which is common byaccident when you unsure to fire. i did this over 150 shots on a 8.4 battery until i smelled smoke. i can see this as a disaster or scare for non mosfet users. Or at least a warning. I plan to test my mosfet design to this as control standards. And unlike other mosfets I have heatsink shells to make long term firing possible. But I need to know how else a trigger can be burned out. Like what conditions are the max? what?s the highest Mah&volt batteries used for airsoft?

You could simply apply some di-electric grease to the trigger contacts, thus removing the arc cause by close but not touching contacts. Other than that, high voltage = more burn
