Exactly what the title says. I have a G&P M4 and i'm looking to make it more reliable and faster, possibly lipo-ready. Unfourtunately, I have no idea where to start and i have no experience airsmithing. Can someone reccomend what parts to buy and, if they work at TAA, an estimate of how much it would cost please?

Its $40 to open/close the mechbox plus the cost of parts installed.  Custom work/out of the ordinary things are extra.  So you're looking $40+.

Okay you can look up many vids on how to take apart ur mechbox. then practice it over and over then start doing upgrades. i mean i knew nothing on airsmithing a year ago and now i take my whole airgun apart more then 15 times a month to check parts and upgrade into new parts. you can eather do it yourself and feel more secure about ur gear of pay someone to do it for you. and to do a LIPO youll need thick wiring and a MOSFET system. cost of gun prep is 40 to 60 dollars. plus the cost of LIPO. plus 40 to have someone else do it for you. also you need to make sure your fuse and motor setup can handle the upgrade.

if your staying under 20RPS then you can go with a normal front wired mosfet for 15- 25 dollars. But if you want to use a lipo and go over 20RPS then go with a Active Braking mosfet which is more complex and prevents overspin of the sector gear. personaly id go with a normal mosfet. i mean im puting a mosfet onto a mp5k at 12rps at 320fps. the sector gear doesnt have enough exstra force to overspin. and at 400fps id go with a standrd mosfet for best preformence and trigger responce, since the sector gear doesnt stop early and only touches the piston head. But before you know which you want, you need i need to know you Rounds Per Second. Also you can find any type of wiring. front or back, i wouldnt worry about that. I dont know if TAA sells them. FYI dont spend more then 25 bucks for a basic mosfet, dont pay more then 40 bucks for a Active Braking mosfet, dont pay more then 80 bucks for a burst mosfet.
