What are your opinions of the Echo1 guns?  Saw a nice CQB M4 that peeked my interest.

echo 1 is just rebranded chinese clones (jg,cyma,..etc..) but they're really affordable and have a warranty. so just expect chiense clone performance but just better quality and less likleyness of a lemon and if their is theris a warranty.

Echo 1 guns are great for first guns. They come very affordable,(100-200$ usually) and are great first weapons. The problem is selling the guns. People dont look for used Echo 1 guns alot and i know that by experiance. But i still have two echo 1 guns ( 1 is stag arms- a branch off of echo 1) that work great for loaning out to my friends and having around. So go for it.

I have always like Echo 1 for the quality starter parts. Not necessarily exceptional quality, but they do a decent job of quality and adding some upgrades here and there.

I guess I'll wait for a VFC or keep looking for a H&K licened one. I really don't want to buy 2 guns so I want to get a good one right off the break.

Echo 1's pretty good, don't see what's wrong with using one of their AEGs to start out with.  VFC and ARES are nice but expensive.

It takes a lot of patience to sell a gun...not every one has a flock of buyers trying to snatch it up.  It doesn't matter what brand, sometimes it's just hard to sell a gun.
