Alright so I'm finally getting back into airsoft and today I bought a KJW m1911 tactical from TAA and now I need mags. For GBB magazines I haven't trusted anything but tokyo maruis but i cant find TM hi capa mags in stock anywhere. Would it be worth my money to invest in some KJW magazines(planning on ordering 4) since I can find them in stock? Opinions please.

lol i know how you feel its tokyo marui when it comes to stuff isn't , well if you plan on playing  i reccomend WE hi capa extended magazine's, they hold 50 +1 rounds and is really ideal but yea any magazine will work fine the only problem i found with WE magazines is that over time the magazine will eventually not lock the slide back. and the fact they tend to leak, but if you use green gas and properly lube it will work fine, but if you want to just use ordinary magazines then kjw 1's will do. However, if you do chose to get the WE 1 always just leave a tad bit of gas in the mag to keep the seals good.

Yes, KJW Hi-capa mags are fine.

I like the way the WE mags are built. Only issue is that the balance is a bit off and the slide doesn't catch. Doesn't really matter, the mag runs out of gas almost the same time it runs out of pellets. WE mag also holds a couple more rounds.

What makes it imbalanced?  I never noticed something like that with my usage of them.

Slide catch issue depends per individual mag.  Even though it's common, it shouldn't be generalized.

I think KJW and WE standard Hi-capa mags hold the same amount of BBs approximately.

I typically stray away from WE because i feel its like the difference between jg and echo 1. Slightly more more $$$ but less likely to get a dud or defective product. Thanks for the imput guys
