What could blue inner barrels mean? My first assumption would be that it is an upgraded part, my second is that its just a color thing. I found this blue inner barrel stock with my new WE USA 1911. | |

I have seen a couple blue inner barrels in various guns that have come through the repair service of the shop. They are standard diameter barrels and have no special characteristics, just blue colored. | |

If it's in a stock WE 1911, it probably doesn't mean anything. If anything, maybe just that it's recent gun but that's about it. | |

i investigated, if you take it out, mine reads (WE something brand) 6.03 mm, idk if that is the standard, could be an upgrade since i have a WE m1911 KB Custom
