After uploading your pictures from your camera, you need to find one of the free image-hosting websites.

If you have a quick, single picture, I usually use Tinypic.com .  With Tinypic it's free and you don't have to have an account or register or anything, but you will have to enter a security code each time.  You can only upload one at a time with that website.

If you're like me with a ton of images to upload and delete because of so many items, I use Photobucket.com because that lets me manage all of my uploads like an online album in an account.  I don't have to enter a security code any time I want to upload and I can upload multiple photos at once.  I can delete images any time or "edit" images in my post by editing the source image and reuploading to my album!

After you've chosen a website, you need to upload the photo from your computer.  Once it's successfully uploaded, you need to find some kind of linking option--usually, you need to find the "Direct Link" type of URL because any other will not format correctly.  Here's an example--from my Photobucket album, I am selecting a direct link for an image:

After I copied the URL, I will go back to the TAA post and click the blue square icon that is next to the smiley face (it looks like a polaroid picture):

This small pop-up window will come up and the screen will dim black, and I paste the URL into the box in the pop-up window:

Now, the post you were working on will have the image in the exact line you were on before you clicked the image button:

*(The image starts out at its original size but will be resized automatically when you click Post Reply!)

When your post is complete, the images will not be huge, but resized automatically by the forum.  See this example (the original was over 9000 pixels but we see a regular small size):

*KEEP IN MIND that is a special feature of this forum.  Other forums might not have an automatic image resize feature.

Because of this, make sure to resize your images, if they are big, before uploading to a certain website, because otherwise your images will be too big for people to see on their computer!

Good luck!

Clarifications:

- If you are using the default editing mode when creating a post, you must use the image toolbar button to have your image displayed directly in the post.

- Alternatively, if you know a bit of HTML you can click the button that looks like two arrows (the right most button) to create your post in HTML coding instead of the rich-text editing mode. This lets you customize more freely. You can switch back and forth anytime while creating the post!

- You're not required to include your images directly when creating a sales post BUT it really helps you as a seller.

You can put in a clickable link, include a link to an online photo album, or email pictures to them, but keep in mind that buyers / readers usually have a very short attention span online...they just want pictures in the post so they can skip out on reading.
