Im not new to airsoft or cab but im upgrading my m4 for outdoor use. I am saving up for a good cqb gun (m4) I know which companies are good, decent, and ones to watch out for but if anyone has any good guns that has high rof. Preferably low fps (330) and full metal id appreciate you post what type it is and what makes it good. My price range is pretty flexible. I was looking into the echo 1 zombat as it meets all what im looking for. If you know anythig about it id also appreciate info. Anyway thanks for any tips and info your able to give. M

The Echo 1 Zombat is not TAA legal--about 360 FPS with 0.20g, which is almost 330 FPS with 0.25g.  So it doesn't meet all what you're looking for apparently.

In my opinion a good CQB airsoft gun for TAA would be a pistol with multiple mags.  Right off the bat, when u buy a pistol, you don't have to pay for downgrade/parts, and it already comes with a mag.  When you factor in price of additional mags to the original cost of the pistol, you're just about on par with an AEG.  Downside is green gas and it's cost (-.-)

But then again it's also fun to be diverse in your airsoft collection.  I know TAA has some CQB guns for sale such as the E1 patriot stubby thingy and the VFC defender.  IF you're lucky the defender will shoot right on the field limit without having to open it up

+1 Brian.  A GBB or good NBB pistol are often good, out-of-the-box , weapons for any CQB play or even short range outdoor engagements.

Totally right about the costs though--a Gas pistol will cost you as much as upgrading an AEG by buying the gun, extra mags for it, and the recurring cost of green gas / whatever propellant.

Back on point, a good dedicated CQB M4 is anything with a 10" barrel or shorter.  Models like the VFC E-Series Defender, Echo 1 XK, JG M4 Tanker, G&G M4 Pistol, ICS Olympic Arms M4 Pistol...those are all very short M4s that TAA has carried in stock before, and just some of the M4s they have to offer.

Some people like AEGs for CQB guns because they can be changed to outdoor specs in the future if desired, whereas a pistol meeting TAA's FPS requirements may feel outranged in an outdoor game.

a good CQB gun is the whatever is in your hands when you're playing. A bad CQB gun is the one that you're getting shot with.

A AirsoftGi G4 would be a nice pick. The Flaming hog is 330fps, short barrel with full RIS,  and is an M4
