i think that TAA should put maps in the respawn  rooms so you can plan your route and strategies. Any one agree?

I think that'd be an interesting idea.  I wouldn't mind beta-testing it.

i agree because every time they change the set up takes me a few games to get use to it and i have to walk around it to figure out the which way is best for me a map would be great!

Having a plan or strategy to plan in this arena is kinda pointless because the playing area is true CQB style and the variety of people playing each and every day will destroy any plan you try to come up with. The best plan is to have no plan, just go whichever way is clear and shoot the other team. And objectives dictate where people will be heading if you're that concerned with it: clock-dom: the z, basketball: the hoops, CTF: your flag area, ender's/suicice: your spawn. So if you are looking for the kills, don't go for the objectives, if you're looking for the win, go for the objective, simple as that.

As for having a map, it wouldn't really work. The field is always changing and a lot of the times they do it from their heads not from mapping it out on paper. Plus to map down each and every prop on the field would be tedious enough but now you gotta factor in people not following rules and moving the props (which happens more than you can imagine), a drawn/illustrated map would not be consistent with what is actually on the field. It would be nice, but given the players and the amount of playing space, it's just useless in my opinion.

It doesn't have to be useless, it's just option for people who will use it, and for people don't need it, they don't need to use it.

It'd be something comforting for players who do not have the arena memorized or who do not remember what the names of each section is called.  It'd also be nice for milsim or really "tactical" people who treat every game like a real life-and-death scenario in terms of moving and advancing.  Experienced players who know the place inside-out already need not look.

You probably don't need to factor in props into making a map then, if that makes it too complicated.  Just a general layout, like the walls.  It doesn't have to be anything fancy.

In response to the changing layout, it only seems to just change every few months, that doesn't seem like so extremely often to un-warrant a basic map.  Of course I understand, someone would have to take the time to draw / create the map which requires some work,.

Make one if you want one.  I'm not doing it.

Here's a map of TAA. Feel free to print it out and do whatever you'd like with it. Perhaps tape it on your celining, so that you can study it laying in bed before you go to sleep. Or maybe print it out on a 4x6 index card and tape it to your wrist and look tacticool, like calling plays John Elway style. Note: Map not to scale.
