I have been coming to Taa for around 6-8 months but just started going more often. I keep asking the refs if we can play medic but it seems it is not that popular. Does anyone no why it is not that popular?

Awsome. I really want to try it. I have seen a few videos on youtube and I really hope the refs run it at least once this Sat.

The refs pick games that are appropriate for the amount of people and the "experience" of the players. If it's too crowded or the majority of the players are new to the arena (or can't follow the basic rules of simple games), then a "complex" game such as medic won't work. It's hard enough for people to follow the simple rule of "you get hit, yell hit and raise your hand above your head," so including the rule "sit down where you get shot and wait for you medic to come get you/medics must physically tag their teammates for two-three seconds" would just be mayhem most of the times. Too many people get shot, run around the corner towards their team then sit, medics using their guns to tag their teammates, etc. So it's just one of those games you would need a good crowd for it to work (not too many people, everyone following basic rules).

also i think they changed it..i recently played i think it was like buddy assist which was wayyyy more fun the medic..and i totally agree with jessi.
